An update for our podcast listeners...

If you are reading this, then I imagine you have a vested interest in Lakeisha's disappearance. Retracing her steps has led me on an unexpected journey. I keep getting asked when the next episode is coming out, but I'm afraid the answer is, I don't know.

When I started this journey I imagined people slamming doors in my face, but what I've found is that people are eager to hear about her story, and to share what they know, which propelled us (& by us, I mean all of you along with me) forward, deeper into this story more quickly than I was prepared for.

There is so much I would love to come out with and give to you in another episode, but much of this information was either given under anonymity, confidentiality, or is too sensitive to release at this time. But, please know, I will do my best to keep you informed as much as I am able to, and would like to release another episode as soon as I figure out the best way to do it.

I know that some might be quick to judge, but please, as information is released, I ask that you keep an open mind. It is important not to jump to conclusions. There are so many inconsistencies it is impossible to place blame this early on without evidence. It also closes doors to new leads and prevents people from coming forward.

I am open to talking with anyone and I have no preconceived ideas about what happened the night she disappeared. In fact, I have more questions than answers. And, If nothing else, I would just love to learn more about her as a person. Were you a friend? An acquaintance? Co-worker? Please don't hesitate to reach out.
